I came back to this post throughout the day, and the bottom image is the one that keeps bringing me back. It looks very much like something out of The Last Picture Show.
The 407s seem to be standing as guards at the door; but they forgot about nature, and now the grass is threatening to slide in right under their noses.

I like the simplicity of the first and the confusion of the third. Fantastic combination, though.
