My first film Up North has been selected as part of the UW student film festival next week. It is in the running for the 'best cinematography' award. I've spent a great deal of time on this project so it will be great to see it screened in a room full of people that I don't know.
Also, the landscape from the opening scene has changed...

ReplyDeleteIt went really well, I didn't win the award that I was nominated for, but it felt great to see my film on a big screen in a room full of strangers. Having said that, I was extremely nervous through the entire thing. It was sort of intense for me how different my film was than everything else that screened, but I think that it was received pretty well. I'll try to get you a copy sometime soon.
ReplyDeleteI really, really want to see it. I think it's great that yours was so different from all the rest; but I can see how that would have been nervewracking.
